The number of prisoners from the New Zealand and Australia followed fluctuating trend. In 1930, the rate of imprisonment was 70 and 100 thousand, respectively, the New Zealand and Autralia. These numbers experienced minimum points in 1950 with 42 and 45 thousand. Then, gradually rise was shown in these trends; the rate reached 45 thousand in Great Britain and 82 thousand for New Zealand.
The US and The Canada amount of prisoners were high than other countires. In 1930, 100 thousand for Canada, and 120 thousand for the US. The Us experienced its peak in 1940 and 1980 with 125 thousand; from 1950 to 1970 the amount was nearly 100 thousand. The US reached 110 thousand in 1950, then declined gradually to 90 thousand, in 1980.
The figure for Great Britain rose gradually from 30 thousand to 85 thousand in the given time period.
