The line graph compares the household recycling rates in three countries from 2005 to 2015.
Overall, household recycling rates were the most popular option in France in 2005, while the other two countries, Germany, and the UK were lower. However, in 2015, France had a gradual decrease. But the other side, Germany, and the UK had increased till 2015.
In detail, France started with 50%, it means the household recycling rates were the most common in the country. Even though France was the highest, for the next 8 years the country experienced a sharp decline until 2013. For the last 2 years the proportion has increased slowly and reached 40%.
The second thing to point out is that the UK and Germany both were lower than France. In the first year, Germany started with only 20%, German people didn’t use the household recycling rates very much in 2005. Despite the fact that, they had a sharp rise till the last year and reached 56%. While the UK had 35%, then, the UK remained steady. Later that year, they hit the peak in 2015 (60%).
