In overall, the total amount of the books read by both genders at Public Library A have gained during these years, especially those read by men, which tripled in 2019 while for the total amount of books read by women only doubled.
Furthermore, a trend of men starting to read more books than women has been found. In 2016 and 2017, women read more books than men but surprisingly the amount of reading books equalized in 2018, both of the genders read 10000 books in that year. The new situation further developed in 2019 since the books read by men extremely more than women by 6000 books. Therefore, it can be a new phenomenon and a further observation on statistics is needed.
Moreover, the amount of books read by women slightly dropped from 2018 to 2019 by 2000 books. It is noteworthy since there was a surge of the number of books read by men at the same period, from 10000 to 14000. Besides, the phenomenon of decreased numbers has only occurred from 2018 to 2019. As a result, more investigations can be carried out in this year.
