The line graph illustrates the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
Overall, it is clear that while the number of enquiries received by letter or email decreased, enquiries received in person and by telephone climbed considerably from January to June in 2011.
In January, the number of enquiries received in person was the lowest at 450. The figure then climbed rapidly to 1900 in June, becoming the most primary way to send enquiries. The graph showed the same figure of the amount of people sent enquiries by telephone, falling slightly in February before soaring in the next four months.
In the first three months of 2011, there was a slow decline of the number of enquiries received by letter/email, from about 750 to about 700. The next two months witnessed a more dramatic drop in that number before it leveled off in June.
