The line graph illustrates the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in a particular city over a six-month period in 2011.
Overall, there was a clear upward trend in the volume of enquiries throughout the first half of 2011, with the total rising steadily until mid-year. The most significant increase occurred during the final two months, whereas the earliest months showed only modest fluctuations.
In January, the office received just over 400 enquiries. This figure rose gradually over the following two months, reaching around 800 in March. Although the growth slowed slightly in April, the total still increased to approximately 1,200 enquiries. This steady rise during the first four months indicates growing interest in tourist information as the year progressed.
The upward trend became much sharper from May onwards. The number of enquiries jumped from about 1,200 in April to nearly 1,900 in May. By June, the figure peaked at just over 1,900, which was more than four times higher than the starting point in January. This rapid increase highlights a surge in demand for tourist services during the late spring and early summer period.
