The given line graph illustrates the number of foreign visitors who came to the United Kingdom for business, holiday and meeting friends and relatives. It is noticable that tourists who came for holiday were more than those other two purposes.
In 1989, 6.5 million people travelled to the UK for holidays and this number increased at 9 million by 1997, but after that it fell dramatically and finally reached at 9 million in 2009.
In addition, business and visit relatives to the UK showed some similar change. If we pay attention about business, it is starting from 3.5 million and 5 million cobsiderably in 1989. After that it rising and reach 7 million in 2009. Throughout the given time period it can be seen that more people did business than who visited their family and relatives.
Overall, increase trend can be seen all these three purposes.
