The line graph illustrates how many people participated in basketball, tennis, badminton, and rugby in a particular region from 1985 to 2005, measured in numbers. Overall, tennis had the highest participants throughout the period, while the badminton consistently recorded the lowest. All four sports experienced some fluctuations, but tennis showed the most noticeable upward trend by the end.
In 1985, tennis started at around 150 participants, which was ranked second highest amoung other sports listed. its number of participants then peaked at nearly 240 by 2005.
Basketball and Badminton had similar trends in the first few years, both staying within the 50-55 range. While badminton remained fairly stable over the entire period, basketball almost exactly mirrored this stable trend, slightly increased from third highest initially (70 participants) to approximately 75 participants by the end of the period.
In contrast, rugby had the highest number of participants with an initial standing of 230 in 1985, but it dropped sharply the following year, hitting its lowest participants at around 50 in 2005.
