Looking at the first half of the chart, it’s clear that the preferred way of settlement for foreigners is on land, rising to a high of 1.5 million in 2013. Moreover, the number of tourists staying on cruise ships fluctuated quite a bit over the mentioned period, starting at 250 thousand before growing significantly to half a million. As for the total proportion of visitors, it has climbed up drastically over the years.
Concentrating on the second half, the popular method of vacationing was on cruise ships, starting from 1 million before surging to 2 million in 2017. Furthermore, after 2014, staying on land became less common for visitors decreasing steadily from 1.5 million in 2014, staying the same in 2015, to just above one million in 2016.
