The given line graph illustrate the proportion of women and people in 50 or over working in uk from the year 1971 to 2019.
As can be seen from the graph, the percentage of women worked in uk was 37 in the year 1971. Even though it was below 40% in undergo a considerable growth in the following years. While the female work polpulation got stagnant in the early 1990 ‘s there was only a mere 21% middle aged workers.
It is evident from the graph that, both the females and workers with 50 or above age shown a upward trend throughout the years. Although the percentage of lady workers were same in the last 2 decades the group of 50 or above was in a growth phase.
Overall it is apparent from the graph that, there was a 15% difference in the females and workers of 50 and above aged population.
