Overall,the proportion of female workers is highest than aged 50+ or above in the UK workplace. Moreover, the older citizens started going for a work later after 1990 in the UK
Looking at the details it is evident that the proportion of female workers in the UK workplace showed continual growth from 1971 to 1990 teaching approximately 45 per cent. However, the percentage remained relatively stable after 1990. In addition to, the proportion of workers aged 50 and above entering the UK workplace started at 21 per cent in 1971 and has steadly growth to 32 percent since 1990.
In addition to,over the 48 year period, the proportion of women in the workplace surpassed that the workers aged 50 or above, with the former showing a larger increase by 10 percent compared to the latter’s 11 percent Increase over 29 years
