The graph shows the percentage of female workers and workers aged 50 or above in the UK workforce. The data for female workers in the workforce from 1971 to 2019, whereas for the workers aged 50 or above, it is from 1990 to 2019.
Overall, the percentage of both groups illustrates an upward trend. Both trends shows almost 10% increasing growth in the workforce. The percentage of female workers is higher than those aged 50 or above.
According to the graph,the percentage of the female jobholders has been increased from 37% in 1971 to 47% in 2019, while the corresponding value of the aged 50 or above has been increased from 21% in 1990 to 32% in 2019.
In summary, it can be easily concluded that the overall enhauin the percentage of women workers of 10% has been noticed in the length of 49 years. But the rate of increase the workers aged 50 or above is 11% has been noticed in the time of 30 years.
