The diagram shows percentage of three different music methods that were sold in the period of 2011-2018.
Overall, the graph illustrates that through these years the amount of stream sales grew from 5% in 2011 to 40% in 2018. By contrast, the percentage of CDs purchased sales decreased from 55 to 25 over the period. Meanwhile, in 2011 were sold 35 percent of downlands, it rised up in 2014 to more than 40%; however, it suffered another drop to 30% to the end of the period.
According to the diagram, streams are the only music sales method that has significantly increased over the years. The growth was steady, ranging from 5% to 40% by the end of the period. On the other hand, CDs purchased sales have fallen significantly – in 2018 the percentage of this method of music sales was the least.
In the meantime, downlands reached over 40% in 2014, in comparison with 35% in 2011, but declined to 30% in 2018. All in all, the graph shows that streams is the only method that rose up since 2011.
