Presented for It consideration is a line graph illustrates the proportion of families with different types of technology namely CD player, telephone, computer, internet, and DVD player- in the United Kingdom between 1997 and 2001.

Upon immediate inspection, it is not worthy that all figures share similar feature of and computers increasing over the time frame. However, CD players and telephones were the most famous among all gadgets, while internet and OVD players were not as famous as the aforementioned.

Looking at the graph in further detail, CD player started high at 60% and they then went dip over the period all the way to just below 80% in 2001, which is the came structure with computer where & the portion increased from 40% to jus below 70%. It was the figure for telephone ownership in house to have the most impressive increase which is was from 20% in 1997 12 75% in 2001.

Shifting the focus to remaining statistics, the internet usage in families stood at only 10% in 1997, but grow dramatically over the period to 60% in 2001. Despite starting higher at the hate of just below 30%, the figures for DVD player surpassed by internet’s figure and ended at only 50% in 2001.
