The line graph describes the proportion of chores in US using five different technologies from the year1995 to 1999.

Overall, majority of households use washing machine, the rate of phone went up considerably, similarly useage of all other technology increased over the four year time period.

Firstly, it is evident that 60 to 80% of households kept washing machine as their top product. The use of computer increased steadily from 40 to 70%. However, in case of phone and internet we see a similar range in the year 1995-1996 later usage of phone increased even it overtook the computer usage reaching more than 70%. However, gradually internet usage increased reached maximum at 50% within the four year period. While DVD player decreased of all the technologies from 28% in1995 to below 20%, later it slowly began to gain popularity but still below all other technologies reached maximum of 40% by 1999.

In conclusion, no technology was able to cross the usage of washing machine while computer was overtaken by phone and the DVD player remained the least usage of all technology even internet usage increased slowly.
