From 2010 to 2011, the proportion of 16-24 age groups increased sharply from 40 to more than 50 million. Conversely, middle-aged people (45-54) experienced an inverse trend in the same period, declining from over 50 to 40 million. There was a similar growth trend in these groups, participation of young individuals rose to 70 million, and in the 45-54 age group grew to more than 50 million in 2015.
The participation of 25-44 age groups fell gradually from 40 to 30 million in 2013, before a dramatic increase to just under 50 million in 2015. Likewise, people in 55-64 age witnessed an opposite trend, rising from approximately 24 to 30 million in 2013, and then dropping to just over 20 million in 2015. Finally, people by age 75 and more saw the lowest proportion, fluctuating between 10 and 20 million.
