The line graph illustrates the proportions of people from five age brackets attending music music concerts in a particular city over a 5-year period
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that all ages showed increasing trends except for 55-64 and that younger people tended to go to concerts more often. In addition, the greatest increase in attendance levels was recorded for the youngest group.
In 2010, the percentage of individuals aged 25-44 who attended music concerts started at just over 50%, after which it fell dramatically to 40% in 2011, before rising to approximately 52% by 2015. Conversely, the figure for people aged 16-24 increased gradually from 40% in 2010 to reach a peak of 65% by the end of the timeframe.
About 40% of individuals aged between 45-55 attended music concerts in 2010, with a subsequent decline to approximately 30% in 2013, before increasing steadily to just under 50% in 2015. In contrast, the figure for the 55-64 age group rose from 24% in 2010 to about 30% in 2013, but later dropped to around 15% by the end of the period. Meanwhile, the figure for the oldest age group experienced growth from 10% in 2010 to 20% in 2013, followed by a slight decrease to approximately 15% in 2015.
