Overall, the use of Internet has increased in every country in twenty years. The most dramatical change in the percentage of people was in India followed up by Germany. In 2000, India had almost no usage of the Internet. The United States had the slightest increase between the years 2000 to 2020.

In 2010, the USA had the highest proportion with 73 percent and the lowest utilization was in India with only 15 percent of its population using the Internet. Up to 2010, the rise was steady but the number of people would increase more after 2005.

After 2010 and until 2020, Germany had the most dramatical change in the numbers starting with 57 percent and reaching 88 percent. Brazil and India, had the same amount of rise with 30 percent. The least change was in the USA with going from 73 percent to 95 percent.
