overall, there was a downward trend in the figure for people aged 15 to 24 and over 50. it is also noticeable that the reverse pattern was true for people aged 25 to 34 age group during the period.
in 1980, the oldest age bracket’s figure was the highest , at 48% . meanwhile the rate of residents aged 15 to 24 was much lower , only 20 %. . in the following 10 years , the percentage of people aged 15to 24 and over 50 visiting a museum considerably went up to 25 % and 50 % ,respectively. however, at the end of the period the proportion of both age brackets were remarkable decrease , at 41% and 21%,return.
turning to the remaining age group we can see that in 1980 , around 37% of people falling into 35 to 49 age group while the figure for 25 to 34 was lower than, with 36% .over the following 1 decade the ratio of the 25 to 34 and 35 to 49 significantly dropped to 29% . in 2010 , the percentage of residents aged 35 to 49 and 25 to 34 experienced a gradual growth , at 41 % and 35 % ,respectively
