Overall, the South American continent has the most green areas in the world. In contrast, Russia and North American both have similar figures. When it comes to timber production globally, Russia is first place in producing timber. Europe is the least in green areas and production of timber.
In detail, South America takes around 28.5% of the world’s forests. Followed by, Russia and then North America. South africa, Asia and Australia are both have similar figures, both are below 15%. The Lowest percentage is Europe at 4%.
Furthermore, when it came to timber production globally, the Russian state comes in first place with 37.5%. In second place comes South America with around 16%. The rest of the world had similar figures. Most were below 15%.
