This picture provides data on the population of various kinds of turtles in India, which includes Leatherback, Green, Olive Ridley, and all species of these creatures over the period from 1980 to 2012.
Overall, what stands out from this graph is that the population of turtles, which is called Leatherback, declined sharply over the period, as for Green and Olive Ridley experienced more stable trends. And when it comes to overall types, they remained steady despite some fluctuations.
Initially, all sorts of populations have begun from the same index which indicated 100. However, after the period of time the kinds of Leatherback was not as popular as the overall populations. In terms of orange figure which represents the mentioned type, despite rising steeply from 100 to 110 between 1980 and 1986, this kind underwent a significant fall to approximately 55 in 2012.
Next, yellow strike line, namely Olive Ridley, saw a rapid climb trend. And it was shown at the top of the graph. Following that, there are other two types which are demonstrated as a name of Green and overall population. Since, one of them which is described as a color of green, named also Green, was under the blue one. However, both of them experienced a period of instability from the 100 to 90 and 100 respectively between 1980 and 2012.
