The line graph gives information about the percentage of pupulation in a country by 3 age group, such as 0-14, 15-64 and 65 and over, in a 80-year-period starting from 1960.
Overall, the proportion of children and adults declined, exept that of 65+ age group. Additionally, there were a huge gap between 65 and over aged and 15-64 aged people, untill they will be the same proportion at end of the period.
Looking at the declining rates, initially, the population of counrtry who aged 15-64 made up around 55%, with beingh domomant, which was nearly 25% more than 0-14 aged group (30%). In the following year, figure for former slightly increased to 60% and almost unchenged untill 2000 year. After that it declined over 20-year- period to nearly 49% and predicted to declinening and reach its a lower point at 45% in 2040. Meanwhile, th figure for the latter witnessed a dramatic decline to account for nerly 10%, and forecasting takeing the fall behind of the rate 65 and over.
Looking at increase rate, in 1960 sinior citizens who aged 65+ accounted for around 15% before increasing sharply to 38% in 2020. According to predictions, it will continue to rising, and it will reach a highest point at approximetly 55% in 2040.
