The graph illustrates the proportion of holidays taken by UK residents to various destinations. Initially, we can see that more than sixty percent of UK residents traveled to countries outside of Europe and North America from 1993 to 2007. However, after 2001, this preference declined, with fewer than 50% choosing these destinations.
In second place, the graph shows Europe. From 1993 to 1995, the proportion of UK residents visiting Europe was quite similar to that of ‘all other countries,’ both of which hovered above 50% and sometimes approached 60%.
Finally, we look at the data for North America, which has a significant gap compared to the other categories, with less than 40% of UK residents traveling there.
Therefore, the graph indicates that the majority of UK residents preferred traveling to countries other than North America and Europe so yeah . . . . . . . . . . . .
