The line graph illustrates the percentage of adults who use various websites in the USA between 2012 and 2015.
Overall, it is evident that five types of social media grew during this period.The percentage of people who use Facebook initially was 67% , and then it steadily increased to 72% by 2015. Pinterest and Instagram users experienced similar changes .Pinterest gradually rose from 15% to 31%,while Instagram oscillately went up to 28% from 13%.
LinkedIn also had a positive trend, increasing from 20% in 2012 to a peak of 28% in 2014 before slightly declining to 25% in 2015. Twitter displayed minimal growth ,beginning at 16% in 2012 and steadily rose 23% after 3 years.
In conclusion, the most frequently used platform was Facebook,while infrequently used application was Twitter.
