To being, the percentage of people who use Facebook was 67% the number rose steadily to 71% in 2013. The following year saw the quantity of Facebook’s user hit a peak at 72% over the period.
In contract, during the same period, the other social media had a similar pattern. Both Pinterest and Instagram increased more than twice their initial value, from 15% to 31% and from 13% to 28%, respectively. While the figures for LinkedIn and Twitter rose slowly from 5% to 7%. Notably, after it’s initial increased from 16% in 2012 to 23% in 2015, Twitter saw no further increase in popularity at the end of the period.
