The line graph represents the percentage of americans who used various websites from 2012 to 2015.
Overall, each website increased, with the highest growth among Pinterest and Instagram. Facebook kept its leading position while there were some changes below like Pinterest becoming second after Facebook by popularity.
At the beginning of the period, there was a barely noticable rise in Twitter and Linkedln. Therefore, slope increased in both websites reaching 23 and 28 percent respectively in 2014. Since then, the share of Twitter users levelled out. At the same time, Linkedln faced a remarkable decline down to 25 percent.
Between 2011 and 2013, there was a moderate growth in Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook until the speed of going upwards increased in Pinterest and Instagram by the beginning of the year 2014. Simultaneously, Facebook remained stable keeping the proportion of 71 percent. Over the year 2014, the percentage of people who use Instagram and Pinterest continued to expand, however with smaller speed, getting to 31 and 28 percent rescpectively.
While there was remarkable growth in the share of both websites, Facebook slightly rose by a single percent.
