The popularity of Instagram and Pinterest, which were the lowest with the figures 13% and 15% in 2012, respectively, presented the highest progression by 15-16% by the end of the period in question.
The rate of adult users of LinkedIn and Twitter demonstrated a similar pattern. During the 2012-2014, both platforms experienced a gradual increase in usage from 20% to 28% for LinkedIn and from 16% to 23% for Twitter. However, in the last year, the trend reversed for LinkedIn , the figure for which dropped to 25% annually, whereas the percentage of Twitter users remained constant, with 23% in 2015.
