The given bar chart illustrates information about carbon emissions from threefossil fuels – gas, oil, and coal (in million tons) in the United Kingdom between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that in the early years the tons of coal were the most, and at the end of the years tons of gas were the most.
To begin with, we can see that in 1990, the figure for coal was the most at around 300 million tons. Although, in 1995, this volume started to decreased to over 250 million. However, after that this number gradually went down to nearly 200 million tons.
Meanwhile, in 1990, the proportion for oil was over 250 million. Although, in 1995, this volume sharply fell to almost 240 million tons. However, in 2000, this figure increased to just 250 million. Although, started with 2005 this volume gradually went down to approximately 200 million tons.
Meanwhile, in 1990, gas started with the least number at nearly 200 million tons. In 1995, this figure rapidly rose to just 250 million. However, after that this volume started to gradually grew, in 2010, the million tons for gas were approximately 350 million
