The graph illustrates the three different kinds of emmision sources of greenhouse gas in the UK.
In terms of carbon emissions,the highest level of carbon emmisions from gas was in 2010. However,we can see that in 1990 the coal was the main source of emissions in to the air. The oil emissions,as well as coal started to reduce from the period 1990 – 2010 . In all cases,according to graph, the people use the gas more than coal and oil.
The reasons for increasing gas usage are the following: Firstly, the gas is more convenient than oil and coal. Instead of private houses many new modern high-rise buildings are built nowadays and of course all the appartments are heatted with a gas its convenient and often cheaper than coal. Secondly, petrol cars are changing to gas consuming cars, in many countries gas as a car fuel is more accessable and cheaper than petrol.
