Overall, gas emissions increased steadily over the period, while coal emissions declined steadily throughout the period. As for oil emissions, their quantity fell insignificantly all the time.
With regard to gas, it stood at 200 million tons in 1990; however, this figure increased steadily throughout the period. At the end, this indicator comprised approximately 330 million tons in 2010. As for coal reserves at the beginning year, the figure consisted of about 320 million tons. This rate had been decreasing for 20 years; in 2010, this figure was approximately 180 million tons.
In terms of oil, it had about 270 million tons, and this amount had been marginally decreasing over the period. In 2010, the oil stocks index had decreased by 50 million tons to approximately 220 million tons.
