Overall, Rome was the most popular destination in 2011 while London steadily increased the number of visiting students and it peaked in 2014.
Rome attracted by around eighteen thousand students in 2011. There was a dip in the student number in 2012. Rapidly, it increased to nearly seventeen thousand and decreased again in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
London had an almost steady growth from 2011 to 2014. However , in 2014 approximately nineteen thousand students chose London as their destination. Fifteen thousand of the Venezuelian students visited London in 2011.
Although less students went to Paris in 2011, the numbers rised gradually between the years of 2011 and 2013. Almost fourteen thousand of them were there as a tourist in 2012 and peaked to twenty thousand in 2013. There was a slight decline in 2014. The numbers dropped to nearly eighteen thousand.
