The bar graph gives the information in percentages about female and male students who got through their school leaving exams of nine different subjects, during a period of one year, between 1993 and 1994.
Overall, both genders achieved the highest marks on English subject. While the lowest passing percentages were accounted for scientific subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics for both genders as well.
According to girls, over the half of them, at about 61.5% passed the exam for English language subject, which is the highest percentage of passing among all subjects. The second high percentage of passing is accounted for the Mathematics subject at about 42.2%. Only under 35% of girls passed the exams related to French and the scientific subjects.
When it comes to the boys, a similar sight is noticed. English and Mathematics are the subjects were about 44% of boys passed their exams, which are the highest scores among other subjects. French, Geography, History, and Craft, Design and Technology are the subjects which below than 24% of passing accured. Similar to the girls, most boys failed passing Scientific subjects, which only between 7.2% and 10% of them passed the tests.
