Overall, Greece recorded the maximum number of immigrants and refugees migrating to the country in 2015. Whereas, Itlay and Spain were consistently below 2 million mark.
Greece saw the least number of immigrants in 2014, approximately half a million. However, the following year recieved the maximum refugees, witg a drastic increase to above 8 million. In 2016, the movement took a dip to fall less than 2 million refugees, making it equal to Itlay. Futher decline continued in 2017, making it less than a million and equal to Spain.
On one hand, Itlay remained in the range of 1 million to 2 million immigrants each year and the highest number was recorded in 2016 coming close to 2 million immigrants. However, on the other hand, Spain crossed the 1 million mark once in 2016 otherwise remaind under a million. The two countries recieved the same number of refugees in 2017, which close to a million.
