The chart illustrates the country’s population in three age groups: blue(from zero to fourteen years), orange(from fifteen to sixty four years), and green(sixty five years and older), between 1960 and 2040, measured in percents.
Overall, the orange group started from the highest position and remained there until the end of the period, while the green group started from the lowest position, it extremely grew from 1980 to 2040 and equal with the orange group by the end of the period. However the blue group started from about 30 percent of the population and declining slightly throughout the period.
In 1960 the orange group started from about 55 percents of the population, then rose to 60 percents of the population in 1970 and remained there for 20 years, before a slight dip to about 45 percents of the population in 2040. The green group started from 15 percents of the population and slight grew from 1970, and crossed the blue line in 1990 with 20 percents of the population, then continued to grow until the end of the period and and became 50 percents of the population. The blue group started from about 30 percents of the population and decreased until the end of the period until it became 10 percents of the population.
In conclusion, while the orange group showed a slight dip, the green group equaled with the orange group at the end of the period.
