Overall, at the start of the period the wholegrain bread’s cost was the highest, before experiencing a dramatic fall. Other 3 types of bread started at the same point and they all rose throughout the period given.
In 2001, the price for 800 grams of wholegrain bread was 0.8 Euros, which is reached its peak at 1.8 Euros in 2002. This figure fell significantly to about 0.7 Euros in 2004, following by a slight rise to 0.8 by the end of the period.
Other 3 types of bread started with 0.6 Euros per 800 grams. White bread increased considerably over the period, and more than twiced by the end. In contrast, rye bread fell at first, but then climbed to about 0.7 Eurosa after remaining stable from 2003 to 2004. The brown bread showed a confident rise to 1.6 Euros in 2003, before dipping and recovering to the same point at the end.
