Regarding visit frequency, the average number of cinema visits increased from 10.3 in 1996 to a peak of 11.1 in 1997. However, it dropped sharply to 8.3 in 1998 and stayed almost unchanged at around 8.2-8.3 visits in the final two years.
The line graph shows a similar pattern for all age groups. Cinema visits reached high points in 1997 and 1999, followed by declines in 1998 and 2000. Throughout the period, the 14-24 age group recorded the highest number of visits, while people aged 50+ consistently visited cinemas the least.
