The bar chart illustrates the average number of products sold by two bakeries in London on Saturdays in the year of 2010.
Overall, Droughtnuts was the best-selling product in both Lovely Loaves and Bernie’s buns. The items in Bernie’s buns were often more significantly preferred than in Lovely Loaves.
Looking at the items which were sold with the higher rates, the numbers of Droughtnuts were the highest in both two bakeries, with roughly 140 and 120 respectively. The similar tendency was seen at cakes and cookies, when 100 cakes and 120 cookies in BB were bought by customers, higher than the figures for these products in LL, at about two third and a half respectively.
Among the remaining less attractive products, the numbers of rolls and crisps sold in the two bakeries were nearly matched, at over 70 and around 50 respectively. While salads were remarkably more favoured in LL, with 60, three times as the data for BB, the disparity in sales of fresh loaves and roasted sandwiches was more narrowed. Especially, the figures for roasted sandwiches in both two bakeries were nearly matched at the lowest level of over 20.
