Overall, the sale of Bernie’s Buns generally exceeded that of Lovely Loaves during the year under review. Another outstanding feature is that doughouts were the most consumed item for Bernie’s Buns. In contrast, the least consumed item was salads in Bernie’s Buns and toasted sandwiches in Lovely Loaves.
As regards the sale of Bernie’s Buns, doughouts came top of the list with 138 items shown, followed by cookies and cakes with 118 items and 102 items respectively. Ranking fourth was rolls with 78 items, which were higher than crips by 6 items. The figures for fresh loaves, toasted sandwiches, and salads, meanwhile, were significantly lower, being 48 items, 24 items, and 18 items.
Similar to Bernie’s Buns, doughouts were also the best-selling of Lovely Loaves with 120 items. Ranking second and third were cakes and cookies, with 78 items and 64 items in order. Only a modest salads (62 items) were sold. Coming next were rolls and crisps with 50 items and 42 items respectively, exceeding the figure for fresh loaves (40 items) and toasted sandwiches (22 items).
