Saudi Arabia and Qatar had the most and the least capacity to produce oil respectively regardless of year. All the countris exeprt Qatar have increased the total capacity of production over the discussed period.
The inital volume of daily production in Saudi Arabia was just over 8 million barrels in 1990 and had increased slightly to around 9 million by 2000. The amount of production experienced a sharp rise to little less than 13 million by 2005 and peaked at roughly 15 million in 2010. During this 20-year period the over all production of Qatar fluctuated with the top record being in 2000 at 1 million barrels.
Iraq, Kuwait, and the UAE had followed a similar trend by starting at an average of 2 million and continuously growing until reaching shy of 4 million in 2010.
Although a pattern of increse is visible in the capacity of production in Iran, the changes were less dramatic. The beginning number of berrels were approximately 3 million while the record presented the total of just over 4 million in 2010.
