Overall, it is clear that Saudi Arabia led the list in terms of production capacity, whereas Qatar remained the lowest among the given countries. The rest countries’ figures were relatively stable from 1990 to 2010.
Specifically, the leader in the oil capacity sector, Saudi Arabia, indicated approximately 8.5 millions of barrels in 1990, which was nearly three times more Iran’s and UAE’s rates. In the following year, country’s numbers demostrated a slight increase of 0.5 millions; afterwards, it climbed up to 14.5 millions of barrels.
By contrast, Quatar exhibited a decline from 1 to 0.5 million of barrels in 2000 and 2010, respectively. Meanwhile, Kuwait and Iraq showed nearly 2 millions in terms of oil production capacity in 1990 and continued with about 4 millions in 2010.
