The bar chart presents data about how much tea and coffee were imported by four various regions. Units are measured in tons.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is clear that the UK imported the biggest amount of tea and the lowest one of coffee. Germany’s imports of coffee are higher than in any other country, whereas those from Canada show lower numbers.
Turning to the specifics, we can see that the UK imported approximately 160.000 tons of tea and it was 8 times higher than import of coffee, which was 20.000 tons. The second leader of the import of tea is the USA, which purchased roughly 110.000 tons of tea and these numbers almost tripled the figures of coffee.
As for the amount of coffee imported by Germany, it is evidence that the country leaded this position, presenting about 42.000 tons of the product and closely followed by the import of tea, which represents 40.000 tons. The last region, concretely Canada, imported the lowest amount of tea, about 20.000 tons, and the import of the coffee is two times higher (40.000 tons).
