The bar chart compares how much tea and coffee are imported by four various countries, namely Canada, The UK, The USA and Germany.
It is clear that the UK and USA import significantly more tea than other two remaining countries do. Although the figure for all given counties buying coffee is relatively equal, the amount imported by the UK is much lower.
Regarding the tea imports, by far the highest amount of tea is imported by the UK at 160000 tonnes. While the USA import more than 100000 tonnes of tea, the figures for Germany is noticeably lower, accounting for 40000 tonnes, which is twice as high as the amount imported by Canada.
As for the imported coffee figures, it is notable that there is not much disparity in figures among countries shown. Germany is the biggest importer of coffee with slightly more than 40.000 tonnes, followed closely by Canada and the USA. By contrast, the amount of coffee imported by the UK was twice as low as that of others countries at 20.000 tonnes.
