Overall, America and Europe recorded significant higher income levels than Africa and Asia throughout the period. While the Africa showed minimal growth, Asia experienced a steady increase. Europe fluctuated slightly and peaked in 2008 before declining whereas America maintained a strong upward trend

In 1960, Europe income stood at about 10 million dollars, while the figure for Asia was much lower. By 2008 Europe income fluctuated slightly and reached a peak of approximately 450 billion dollars. In 2010 Europe income declined slightly to just under 400 billion dollars, whereas Asia income continued to grow reaching about 250 billion dollars
