In 2017, there were about 10 bears, 150 dolphins and 80 whales. The number of bears rose steadily to around 95 in 2019 and continued increasing to approximately 185 in 2022. By contrast, the dolphin population fell sharply from about 150 in 2017 to around 30 in 2019 before reaching almost zero by 2022.
The whale population showed fluctuations throughout the period. It decreased from about 80 in 2017 to 50 in 2018, then peaked at around 100 in 2019. After that, it fell to about 75 in 2020, rose slightly to around 90 in 2021, and finished at approximately 70 in 2022.
