In more detail, South Korea had the greatest, with about 17 internet connections per 1000 people in 2001 and after affecting by a slight growth of 41 percent, reached 24 internet connections per 1000 people. On the other hand, Britain, the fewer about 1 connection per 1000 people in 2001, but had a significant increase rate of 230 percent and gained approximately 3 internet connections per 1000 people in 2002.
Searching for the other countries, the USA and Japan stood on the same side, in second place in 2001 with 4 connections but had different rates of increasing, 50 and 75 percent respectively and Japan overtook the USA with about 7 internet connections. Germany also took place between these two countries by about 3 and 5 internet connections per 1000 people in 2001 and 2002 respectively.
