Overall, the number of people who joined badminton, basketball, and tennis showed an upward trend; however, rugby’s membership experienced a significant decrease throughout the period.
In the first year, the lowest number of participants was badminton (over 50 members), while the number of people who took part in basketball was around 80 individuals. The former went down slightly to under 50 joiners in 1990 before marginally rising to 50 members and stabilized at this figure until 2005. The latter showed a downward trend in 1990, following a surge to nearly 100 people in 2000, and went back to 80 participants in 2005.
In 1985, the number of people who played tennis and those of played rugby were 150 and approximately 250 members, respectively. Whereas the former experienced a noticeable increase of 50 people, the latter showed a decrease in 1995. In half of the period from 1985 to 2005, the number of tennis participants jumped by around 25 people; however, those of rugby participants plunged to the number, which was equal to badminton ones (50 people).
