The graph demonstrates the quantity of people who were interested in going to different art galleries around the world in 2011.
Overall, six museums showed major fluctuation about how many people seeing in 2011. Louvre in France drew the vast number of visitors’ attention while it just had a small total in State Hermitage of Russia.
Looking first at British Museum in the UK, this tourist destination stood at 5.8 million people. It experienced minimal change with about 6 million people in Metropolitan Museum of the USA. Whereas, Louvre (France) reached a peak of nearly 9 millions and it increased by a half of Metropolitan Museum.
In contrast, this number of visitors decreased sharply in National Museum roundly 3.2 millions whilst just 3 million visitors in Museo del Prado (Spain) in the same year. The proportion of people traveling to the museum in Spain only were one-third compared to one in France. State Hermitage in Russia recorded the lowest figure with less than 3 millions visitors.
