With regards to paper and cardboard, the recycling rate is around 65% in the year 1982. This percentage has steadily gone up and is at 80% in the year 1994. After this, it has seen a decline and is at 70% in 2010. Coming to glass containers, it has seen a similar trend up to the year 1994 which is at 50%. However, this percentage gone up from that year and ended up at 60% in 2010.
Aluminium cans has seen a considerable growth starting at around 5% in 1986 and ended up at approximately 45% in 2010. Similarly, Plastics recycle proportion has also seen growth which started at around 3% in 1990 and ended up below 10% in 2010.
