The bar chart demonstrates the proportion of types of magazines sold by a company, in years; 1975, 1995 and 2015.
Overall, when sales are analyzed, sports magazines are dominating other genres. In fact, there is a rapid increase between 1975-2015. It goes from around 30% to slightly over 40%. Though, not every section has seen high demand. For instance, preference for fashion papers fell sharply, with more than 15%. Another subject which decreased is health. It was exceeding 25% in 1975, then it remained steady at 20% on the later decades.
Furthermore, as for the ‘others’ section, it is seen that they were fluctuating. This category has been sold more than 30% though it didn’t hit below 25%. In contrast, food magazines reached their pick with more than 20% in 1995, though for other two years the numbers remained stable around 10%.
