There were over 1 million surgeries performed in the woman market. Eyelid was the most demanding body part that the ladies seeked improvement, reaching over 300 thousand cases in the year. On the other hand, the cosmetic surgery market for men was smaller, with only approximately 200 thousand procedures done in the year. The most popular type of surgery for men was hair transpilantation, accounting for 20% of the total number of procudures.
Coincidentally, the nunber of laser skin resurfacing and rhinoplasty were considerable for both men and women. Among the males, Laser skin resufacing was the second-most popular sugery with more than 50 thousand counts per year, followed by rhinoplasty, whereas phinoplasty was more trendy for the womem.
In addition, more than 100 thousand women in total took breast enlargement and surgery type liposuction, while less than 20 thousand men performed abdominoplasty and surgery type facelt, respectively.
