The graphs provide data on the percentage of each age bracket visiting Spain in two years 1983 and 2003.
In general, there was an increase in the number of people above 55, 0-15, and 16-24, with the exception of age cohorts 34-54 and 25-34. However, despite experiencing a decrease, the percentage of people from 34 to 54 years remained the highest ranking in two years.
In 1983, half of the British visitors were individuals belonging to age ranges 34-54 years; 15 years later, the figure went down by 15 years in 20 years. However, it remained the highest position throughout the period. Additionally, the statistics of tourists from 25 to 34 years, starting at 20% in 1983, also displayed a slight fall of 12% in 2003.
Considering the smaller proportion of age brackets, three of them showed an increase at the end of 2003. Specifically, both people at age ranges 16-24 and above 55 witnessed a comparable increase by 10% to 15% and 26%, respectively. Therefore, the rates of British passengers above 55 claimed the second spot in 2003. Finally, there was a slight growth in the percentage of people from 0 to 15 years in 20 years, from 10% to 12%.
